Galerie de Schans presents the new solo exhibition ‘Theo doet Bonne’ by Theo Wesselo. On view from 18 July until 24 August.
Theo Wesselo is a Dutch artist, performer, and musician known for his raw and eccentric style. Rising to fame in the ‘90s with the cult TV show Rembo & Rembo, he later voiced the animated icon Purno de Purno. Beyond television, Theo evolved into a multidisciplinary artist, making bold visual art, spoken word poetry, and fronting the unconventional music group Hausmagger. With a life marked by both wild detours and fearless comebacks, Wesselo remains a magnetic force in Dutch culture.
