This year marks a decade of BONNE SUITS. After 10 years of focussing on our timeless workwear uniform, BONNE SUITS is now launching seasonable collections that provide a wide range of genderless garments that are designed with the same intention of dressing anyone for every occasion, with long lasting quality.
With each season we delve into a new archetype of WORK, taking a cultural muse from that field as a starting point. For our first S/S’25 collection, we took inspiration from Bonne’s great-aunt and first role model, the modernist garden icon Mien Ruys, as we delve into the world of gardening.
As a young sprout, Bonne spent the summer months in the gardens of his great-aunt, the renowned landscape architect Mien Ruys. A trailblazer in a male-dominated field, Mien transformed gardening from an elitist hobby to a pastime for all.
The result is a collection with references to Mien’s modernist work, highlighting her sketches and linework, while using the farmers’ overall that Bonne used to wear as a toddler as a starting point.
