On Saturday December 7th, Hans Frans solo exhibitions opens at Galerie de Schans.
The Dutch artist works with wood and found objects, carving, scraping, and painting onto existing materials to create multi-layered works. Hans began his artistic journey as a carpenter, using leftover wood from his studio as his first canvases. This eventually led to his transition into a full-time painting practice, where he combines his woodworking skills with artistic expression.
